1. Overview

Qlypx is a native macOS menu bar clipboard manager and launcher published by CHROMATRIBE.

Your clipboard history, screenshot OCR text, snippets, and attached files stay on your Mac. Qlypx does not upload clipboard content to CHROMATRIBE or any third party, does not display advertisements, and does not track you across applications or websites.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Qlypx stores all application data locally inside your Mac’s Application Support folder (~/Library/Application Support/Qlypx/):

  • Clipboard history: Text, images, files, and timestamps.
  • Snippets & Attachments: Reusable canned texts and copies of attached files.
  • Preferences & Blacklists: Hotkey bindings and excluded app configurations.
  • Screenshot OCR data: Text extracted on-device via Apple’s native Vision framework.
  • Private Backup Folder (Optional): If you choose a sync directory (such as personal iCloud Drive), copies are mirrored locally under your direct control—never via a CHROMATRIBE server.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Clipboard items, images, and snippets are never uploaded to CHROMATRIBE or third-party servers.
  • Qlypx contains zero marketing SDKs, trackers, or advertising IDs.
  • Qlypx never sells or shares personal user data.
  • Qlypx operates completely without user accounts or mandatory registration.
